How can we resist Krishna with his big beautiful eyes and bright blue skin? Draped in a yellow lungi, surrounded by cows and luscious dancing 'Gopis', he doesn't seem to be giving us the message that life should be austere – full of sorrow, guilt and suffering. |
| Instead, he entices us with every note on his flute to live a life of love, joy and beauty. He is often depicted as 'Balakrishna' – the divine child – a mischievous young rascal who steals sweets from neighboring kitchens. This modern take on a Kirtan with traditional lyrics invites you to join the dance and say "Yes" to life in all its colors. |
