| The Medicine Buddha, or Bhaishajya-guru, is as his name suggests connected with healing. “Bhaishajya” means “curativeness” or “healing efficacy”, while “guru” means “teacher” or “master”. Thus he’s the “master of healing”. He’s also known as Bhaishajya-raja, “raja” meaning “king”. |
| This is one of the most important mantras for healing, it asks for healing from the illusion of duality. Mantra that all Tibetan doctors recite each morning before they start their work, frees one from the pattern of negative thoughts. Mental issues can be healed. Very peaceful and relaxing, sleepy, gentle. Permeates the atmosphere. This mantra is also used for the dying process. |
